One Year Later, Pittsburgh Honors and Remembers the Victims of The Tree of Life Synagogue Tragedy

This weekend across the City of Pittsburgh, people and organizations paused to remember the 11 lives lost last year during the Tree of Life Synagogue tragedy.

A year ago soon after this tragic event, staff from our Squirrel Hill (Hazelwood) center witnessed neighbors, friends, first responders, and strangers come together for each other like never before — people nationwide extended in amazing support for their community.

A year on, Brightside Academy still stands with our Squirrel Hill and City neighbors, united! Together we areĀ #PittsburghStrong.
