East Liberty Preschool Graduate Featured on Pittsburgh News

Our very own Rodnell Lyman, a pre-school graduate of our East liberty location was featured on the Channel 11 News. Back in September of 2015 Rodnell was caught in a crossfire and shot in the face at a candlelight vigil held in Homewood. Rodnell recovered from his injuries and with the help of his mother graduated from pre-school and was also crowned prom king. Rodnell’s mother, Clarice Burse, has a strong message to say to other victims of gun violence, “Just don’t let it hold you back,” Burse says. East Liberty’s Academy Director, Raina Kelly and the remaining faculty and staff at the East Liberty location are so proud of Rodnell and his great accomplishment!
