About Us

Brightside Academy – Congreso is an accredited Philadelphia child care and school readiness provider in Kensington Area. We service children from 6-weeks- to 12-years-old and are conveniently located near Congreso, WIC, Rite Aid, McDonald’s, Wendys, Checkers, Check Cashing, Pan American School, and Julia de Burgos School. Our caring staff provides nurturing care in a safe, modern, state-of-the-art learning environment. We proudly accept CCIS and offer the Pre-K Counts quality program.

Brightside Academy childChildren are born eager to learn. Brightside Academy’s curriculum helps lead children to their full potential and prepares them for success in school and beyond.

Our kindergarten readiness programs teach age-appropriate lessons that encourage development in a safe and nurturing environment. Trained and experienced teachers care for and educate infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in the areas of reading, math, communication and exploration daily.

School-age children benefit from before- and after-school care in a supervised and enriching environment and from a fun summer camp program when school is not in session.

Brightside Academy Congreso is open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Our employees are bilingual and we have outdoor play areas. Families benefit from our diapers program, and the quality free formula and meals available to enrolled children. We are convenient to families living near the area and who commute through this neighborhood. Public transit serve the area: Buses 57, 54, 39, and 47.
