PHILADELPHIA, PA – Leadership members of Brightside Academy’s regional Philadelphia market attended the 2016 Congreso de Latinos Unidos Gala event as part of their continued partnership with Congreso, a non-profit organization that strengthens Latino communities.
The annual event brings businesses and organizations together to celebrate their work in the communities and build awareness for the social and economic issues in North Philadelphia. Congreso also focuses on education, health services and leadership development in the areas they serve.
“This is a very important event for Brightside Academy to be a part of. We connect with leaders who share our passion and commitment to improving the education of our children and families,” stated Ed Koch, Brightside Academy Pre-K Counts Coordinator. “Many attendees of this event are supporters of our schools.”
Brightside Academy has over 25 locations in the Philadelphia area, 3 of which directly partner with Congreso for community and education events. The partnership between the two organizations developed to provide employment, education, health and wellness resources to families attending Brightside Academy. The collaboration grew to include Harum College, a close partner of Congreso, to bring in qualified candidates to Brightside Academy’s teaching staff and offer continuing education for their employees at Harcum College. Now, the three organizations support one another through various community outreach events and careers opportunities.
Brightside Academy is proud to partner with these organizations to provide education and services to strengthen the Philadelphia community. Families who are interested in enrolling their children to Brightside Academy can contact the company at 1-877-868-2273, visit brightsideacademy.com, or stop by a local academy for more information.
